Back again this time with a new president Peter kicked off the season with the annual president's lunch. I was hoping to find out what he was saying here, but we assume that its not safe for the internet, Or far to long for me to type out. Hope everyone in attendance had a wonderful time in the hospitality of our president. Special thank you to the significant others and guests who joined our referees at the afternoon event. Without you many of our referees might not do what they do!

You will of course find the photos from the event in our photo gallery section.

Honorary president is exactly that, an honor for those who play the role. The committee agreed that this should be marked with a memento not just a mention on the website. A big thank you to Kerrel for pursuing this and making it a reality for all our past presidents who received their award at our last members meeting. A medal has also been presented to Nick Laceys wife in memory of his life presidency awarded before he passed.

You can also find the full history of the society (or as far as we know it) on our new section. Thanks again to Kerrel for keeping this important archive up to date and moving it into the 21st centuty.

It's customary to celebrate the milestone of 10 society fixtures with a photograph and a website mention. Although with a voucher and not a kit bag! Sam Joins us from Loughborough University and brings with him great experience of IMS rugby. We hope to welcome more referees like Sam to our society. Well done Sam.

A Sunday full of firsts. Players playing their first games, referees on their first inner warrior. One Ref even on their first game! Allianz inner warrior is really developing in Leicestershire and great to be able to ensure the games are being covered. Even more impressive for James managing his first game just 7 days post ERRA course. Huge thanks to Tim for being a splendid example for James to follow.

The society have taken part in every single year of this long running charity event. Organised this year by President Pete Bower the team put in a great shift in the social 10s tournament, despite the conditions. Mike Jones even put his boots on to join Kerrel in providing assistant referee cover for the whole day. We certainly cannot wait for next year!
